It is the perfect place for relieving stress and getting in touch with yourselves and just letting go! Bowe Cay is almost 300 acres, 10 miles around, 10 miles from the island of Great Exuma in the Exuma Cays, Bahamas. It is about 300 miles southeast of Florida. Some of the airlines that fly into Exuma are American Eagle and Bahamasair. Our taxi driver will meet your flight and take you to the market in Georgetown where you can get your last minute provisions. He will then transport you to the dock where you will be taken out to Bowe Cay by boat. Upon arriving at the island you will be shown around and then it will be time for our boatman to leave. As the boat engine drones away, you will be completely alone! There are several beautiful sandy beaches to enjoy, lots of coral reefs in the ocean to snorkel, as well as two very large clear lagoons. There are wonderful dense jungles and lots of caves, and ruins to explore. There are a multitude of birds and gecko lizards to entertain you, and sometimes even dolphins to watch. There are about 100 wild goats on the island that are very timid, occasionally you can hear them, but you will seldom see them unless you diligently search them out. There are no poisonous spiders or snakes. A week is hardly enough time to see all you will want to see, and you will never get bored.
